Canine Facilities
We have 5 dogs ourselves, so visiting dogs are very welcome at The Old School B&B. We are Pets Welcome approved by VisitBritain.
Charges are typically £3 (Euro 3.75) per dog per night and include the use of blankets, food and drink bowls and a biscuit, if you like.
They can stay in the room, when you are there, and come to the guest lounge with you.
We are only a short drive away from the Littleport Leisure Centre, where Dog Obedience, Agility and Flyball competitions, various Breed Shows and Training days are held.
There are a number of nice local walks, where you can take your dog(s). We can advise you where to go for walks in lovely Thetford Forest, on the beautiful North Norfolk beaches or in the wide Cambridgeshire Fens.
If you would like to go out and leave your dog(s) behind during the day, we can advise you of local boarding kennels or dog day care centres to allow you to visit Ely Cathedral, go to an event or a business meeting withour worrying about having to leave your dog(s) in the car on a hot day.
Visitors include family pets, show dogs, agility competitors and working dogs, both from the UK and abroad - and sometimes people even bring their horse or newly hatched duckling ! Since we have working Terriers, we are unable to offer our garden for the use of your dog, it is their territory. And please no cats, hamsters, gerbils, pet rats, rabbits or chickens ...
