Visiting dogs are very welcome at The Old School B&B.  We have 3 dogs ourselves, so understand how important it is to you to be able to bring your dog with you.

Charges are typically £4.00 (Euro 6.00) per dog per night and include the use of blankets, food and drink bowls and a biscuit, if you like.

Please keep your dogs on a lead while in on our property (in the house and in the yard please), so that they are not wandering the corridors. There are a number of local short walks, so please make sure they have had a chance to go to the toilet before you come into the house

Since we have working Terriers, we are unable to offer our garden for the use of your dog, it is their territory.

Please be a responsible dog owner and ALWAYS pick up after your dog. Poo bags are available on request, also a supply is available in the hall next to the telephone.

They can stay in the room with you or join you in the guest lounge, if the other guests are happy with this. Please do not leave the dog unattended in the room ! If you go out, please take your dog with you !

If you would like to go out and cannot have your dog(s) with you during the day, we can advise you of  local boarding kennels or dog day care centres to allow you to visit Ely Cathedral, go to an event or a business meeting without worrying about having to leave your dog(s) in the car on a hot day.

There are a number of nice local walks, where you can take your dog(s). We can also advise you where to go for walks in lovely Thetford Forest, on the beautiful North Norfolk beaches or in the wide Cambridgeshire Fens.

We are only a short drive away from the Littleport Leisure Centre, where Dog Obedience, Agility and Flyball competitions, various Breed Shows and Training days are held.

Visitors include family pets, show dogs, agility competitors and working dogs, both from the UK and abroad - and sometimes people even bring their horse or newly hatched duckling

And please NO CATS, hamsters, gerbils, pet rats, rabbits or chickens ...

We hope you and your doggie friend(s)
will enjoy your stay with us !
